Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a huge disaster as it usually is... I am sure mine was not nearly as bad as many but for me it was really stressful. I had to spend the first half of the day at my gf's families and then second with most of mine. Since my parents are divorced it had to be either my mom's side or dad's... since there are more in okc for my mom that's what we did... I got bitched at all day for taking so long and not getting to the house early and all because what my mom thinks she thinks she gets and it's her way or the highway... so that's always fun, NOT. However we did manage to have a good time at dinner except for my grandparents couldn't come on time because some old friend who was a major drunk came to their house with his girlfriend to hang out and talk since they hadn't in twenty years... then they finally came after we finished dinner and brought the drunk and his gf... and me and all my cousins and gf played Mexican train dominoes with beverages and had a grand old time... then my gf started feeling sick and had a 104 temp and had to be taken to the emergency room... it was really eventful. thankfully henis okay now and placed on oxygen and the turkey and ham was eaten. did I mention that the football schedule and games for turkey day were the worst I have ever seen. quite the dissapointment.

Oklahoma University Football!

I was and still am so pleased that OU won the bedlahm again for it is such an exciting rivalry. However, even though I am a huge OU fan I was a little diasapointed that it therefore kept them out of a bowl game. I always root for all of Oklahoma's sports teams and sports as well as the big 12. I just have favorite when it comes down to who they play. For instance I always root for big 12 against other's because it helps out the big 12 by doing better and making the division seem better. I think it was so hard being a Sooner fan most of this year and always at times of going to the bowl games that's for sure, but Stoops really needs to make Ome changes. It is about time he keeps up with the times and gets a more elaborate playbook, I'm not sure if that means coaching changes need to happen or not... I certainly do not want to loose stoops though. This OU team was one of the worst of the decade and somehow beat OSU in bedhla which was their best team of history... not sure what that says but not having some key players healthy is a good excuse, but it was much more of a factor with Oklahoma obviously having had 11 different o-line starters and losing the all-American tight end and heisman quarterback... as apposed to one reciever... but that's enough of the rant.. OSU can cry all they want OU came to play and OSU didn't.

blogs...... blah.

so I don't really like blogging... it might be obvious for you who are following my blog because we all know that I have to keep up this blog for my PR class and I just do the bare minimum.... I understand how to do all of these social medias I just don't understand why so many people enjoy online public diaries.. I have never had one and never intended on it. I guess I just don't like my personal life being out there like that. I have a facebook and a myspacr but I have those extremely private and only for my friends or aquaintances that I trust or the ones I am not sure about I put to a limited profile.. it's nothing personal but just primarily for business relations and not needing them seeing me and or some of my wild friends posts and pictures. oh and I occasionaly throw in a status update but it really bothers me how many tweeters are tweeting on facebook.. like all of that @this@that crap and the non-stop updates about shit. do those people not have a life? when I'm bored in class or on the phone I will occassionaly look at statuses of my friends with the intention of reading something funny or to just see what my friends are up to. I think there should be at least a minimum to one update per day... some are crazy on it. now that the "Ogle Rant" is over... oh that's what I call some tangent thatis completely useless and makes absolutely nobody more intelligent having read or listened to. he is quite the tv personality.. I would really like his job. On to a positive note, my girlfriend had this group project for a marketing research class and she was given surveys to take to clinics and non-profits for staff to fill out... She somehow thought this would only take a day and be really easy to do. She was unaware of how many places were not willing to do surveys.. we went all over town getting one or two and mostly none done at each place... then i thought to go to UW because Mandy is the PR lady their and I knew she would allow it seeing it as a school project and nothing harmful to the org or companies... So with that boy was she amazing!!! Thanks Mandy!! She was able to go around her office and get people to fill them out, so my gf ended up with thirty total after that and was done going around town. I was so frustrated with everything that day and it was a real relief to just be done with it. Oh and wow!! the UW building is extremely nice withreally cute employees too! I saw at least three hottie while there.. haha.. How bout them Sooners? I am looking forward to the OU-osu game! I think they are going to dom the boys. It will be a fight amongst men and boys. The cowboys are going to bring a knife to a gunfight.

Procrastination or just flat out late....

So here I am trying to do this assignment on my phone since I do not have Internet at my house and har just been far too consumed with life this past week.. I intended on writing at several points throughout this past week but just didn't get to it. I was going to write after watching Iowa FINALLY lose... I was so happy it was so bothersome that they had been playing so horribly yet barely somehow winning against horrible teams and yet they were ranked 4th... So that was pleasing... I wished Boise State would have lost.... Glad Oregon did and I was really torn on what I liked about the bama/lsu game... I went to Auburn so I really don't like bama, however I have several reasons to dislike lsu for both auburn and Oklahoma as well as Les miles and all of their fans are typically the same caliber of people when it comes to just about everything... I know that's a stretch and a stereotype and I wouldn't wish Les miles upon any group of people so I am sorry to the "Dirty South" fans. Enough said. How bout the Oklahoma game.... Who told Stoops it was a bowl game!? I think it is time for some serious changes.... I am no Dan Snyder so instead of starting with stoops I might look Wilson's direction for this issue.... offense was completely lacking.... as in there was NO offense... I think Nebraska is a good team and it is without a doubt the hardest stadium to play at.... but one field goal is ridiculous..... and why didn't he go for it on 4th and 1??? Plus does anyone know why stoops tried that new kicker!? what a piece... That game really made me mad. I am so sick of being let down by the sooner football team... Oh and no disrespect yo Landry but I really hope we go a different route in the near future... I am tired of pocket passers with zero run threat.... I wish we had Keith back... he was Highschool Gatorade player of the year.... and under our program could have become amazing... just my op... I voiced it on the sports animal at the beginning of last season... it was quite the debate amongst people...

Watch this video and tell me what you think... I personally really really dislike the Florida Gators regardless of this incident but it just goes to show how gross they truly are. I also think Tim Tebow is full of shit. He seems to only ever do things for publicity... Like he goes and visits his parents who are missionaries and suddenly he too is and was a missionary... I typically find that the majority of amazing Christians are the ones that do not do it for the publicity but for the Love of Christ and self recognition not public... Sorry about this rant but they really make me mad... I could also go into depth with these same thoughts in regards to many elected officials..primarily the Republican "Conservatives".....
